Matt, Thanks so much for teaching this class again! It is entering the timeline of my life exactly when it’s supposed to! I’m looking forward to the challenge and to having my heart and mind stirred in it’s affections for Christ, the Word. It was exciting to see the class filled up with such diverse students, too.Jules
I have to apologize to everyone for the downtime this site has experienced (not that I think it is overly popular… yet) over the last few weeks. We should be up and running now and I would like it is everyone would post their questions comments etc. here so that we have a archive of questions and answers. Obviously with 30+ people in the class e-mailing Matt individually or on Facebook would be rhetorical and time consuming.
On another note. If you are up to the task of setting up a muli blog site that is what I would rather have but I don’t have quite the knowledge or time to learn how at the moment. Message me on Facebook if you would like to help.
Pg. 31 “New Thought groups” Why is New Thought capitalized, and how ‘new’ are these groups anyway?
Pg. 31 Churches that claim to be authentically Christian but are not, have different “Definitions” of what Christianity entitles?… Who is to say that they are wrong and we are right? Do they not also have early Church Fathers, traditions and the like that validate their claims to Christianity?
Pg. 35 Can you explain how the “Radio addresses on the British Broadcasting Corporation during WWII ” worked? =D
Sorry it took so long for me to respons. I’m still learning this site. Hmmm. I don’t have my book in front of me, so I’m not sure about little details such as the radio addresses on the BBC during WWII. lol. New Thought is capitalized because he’s referring to specific groups (and no, there is nothing new under the sun). Yes, other churches which claim to be authentically Christian but are not have their own definitions of what it means to be “Christian.” Nobody wants to believe they are wrong! That’s why we need solid sources and norms for determining proper Christian beliefs: Scripture, Tradition, reason and experience!

Will mentioned to us today that you are doing the whole Mosaic class again and we would like details if you can add new people at this point. Being summer our attendance will be a little irregular but Bill gained a lot from it and is interested in learning more.

I’m glad you guys are taking the class. It’s great seeing you both in a “church” type setting. Reminds me of old times!
I mentioned last Monday that there will be no class tonight since it is the 4th of July. Just figured I’d post a reminder in case anyone was so dedicated as to skip BBQ’s, fireworks and fun for the study of theology tonight. Have a fun and safe evening and we’ll see you all next week!
Hello! Does anyone know if the second class was recorded on podcast? If so where should I look to find it?
I did record week 2 (Chapter 1 of the book), but haven’t sucked up to Will enough to get his insight on how to upload it to this website. Week 3 (Chapter 2) did not get recorded.
Of course. Which article are you talking about? You can always use what you find here. There’s nothing new under the sun and everything I could possible write or teach was no doubt taken (even if indirectly) from those who have taught and influenced me over the years.
